Antique french blotting paper illustration – little eskimo on Pole, penguin, ice, canoe – 1950s
In France, until the 70s schoolkids were writing with an inkpen and inkpot. They were all using blotting paper to absorb ink stains. The blotting papers were most of the time advertising a product or company and had beautiful illustrations. Some people in France collect old blotting papers, we call them: papibeverophiles.
This blotting paper is advertising AMORA, a mustard company.
